know it's only been a few short hours since your departure but I have not been wasting my time, i have been busy baking cakes and pies for your "drop in" on Sunday. ok, I'm lying, but I would have been doing all those things but you have only left me half a kitchen and you know that i consider baking the devils work!!
Hope you have reached the end of your 1st stage and that Vince hasn't cried too much on the hills and that Andy (Swan) has got the kettle on.
Hi "1 in a million" Avidly following ur progress - u r doing well boy - hilda would be proud of u - just remember her words when the going gets tough - "he's one in a million is r Andy"!!!!!!!! Best I get Ian in training so he can become Hilda's number 1"
I've just created my Google account so I can send you this. Good to see you on Monday but I'm afraid Andys pace as usual just blew me away!
Hope all is going well and keep those legs spinning, lungs breathing and FOCUS FOCUS FOCUS! You'll be there before you know it, have a large dram on me and don't forget when you're posing for the end photo in John O'Groates don't step to far back, that Atlantic is very cold!
This is the diary of two men's dream of cycling from Lands End to John O'Groats ~ please follow their progress and support them in what ever way you can. Two excellent charities will benefit from their efforts. The picture above was before the start with a major sponsor and shows the sign that's displayed on the van as we journey. In the picture are Andy Smith, Rob Snell (Director of Elite Cameron), Vince Kearney and Andy Swan.
